Worth the wait
I joined Richemont in April 2013, as a Junior Sales Associate for Jaeger-LeCoultre in Sao Paolo. I had to wait a bit before starting my position, but it was totally worth it!
I worked hard to achieve my sales targets, growing to Sales Associate, Senior Sales Associate and then Assistant Manager. Wow, 6.5 years already! I was checking on the intranet online for new opportunities and found open positions for a Senior Sales Associate in Dubai at the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique that opened recently. I followed my heart and went for it, and I'm so glad I did.

The Passion Reactor
My first visit to Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture blew my mind. Having the chance to meet such passionate people was contagious and really made me feel passionate for the grand Maison too!
New Culture, New Customs
I love Dubai. It's so multi-cultural and there's something for everyone. There was one thing, though, I had to learn the hard way. Transportation rules do not allow food or drink inside the trains, and to my surprise, that includes chewing gum too! So unless you want a fine, do not chew gum inside the train! LOL

How I've changed

Joining the Group gave me a completely different vision of the luxury industry. It's so much more than an object made with high-end materials and gemstones. It's about having the freedom to create, passion for what you do and passion for people. It's about providing everyone around you with most amazing experience you can, it's know-how, it's sharing your history with those around you, it's about caring, being gentle and captivating. The experience has changed me. I'm actually quite shy and my career with Jaeger Le-Coultre and Richemont has helped me overcome that and become more mature personally and professionally.
Words I live by
Do for others what you would like them to do for you. And never think that no one is watching. For better or worse, always do your best.
What I've learned
I have learned that the journey is difficult, but it is up to you to decide
whether to turn the stones in your path into a large and beautiful castle or to carry them like a heavy weight pulling you down.

I hope that my path from Sao Paulo to Dubai can, at the very least, inspire others searching for opportunities inside the Group.
