I found myself interning at Baume Watches just two weeks after applying. That's how my career with the Group started. I joined the digital team right as the new Maison was launching – it was an exciting time!
I was amazed and thrilled that my Manager there supported me to enrich my career path with a move to the product marketing team as Digital Project Manager. It made me realize that people trust my skills, believed in me and therefore, I gained a lot in self-confidence.
The Group is people-oriented, meaning that there is an important place for self-development.
Before my contract came to an end at Baume Watches, I applied for a temporary role as Assistant Product Manager at Jaeger-LeCoultre. To then be offered a long-term contract with the product marketing team as Product and Content Manager was a huge achievement for me. I've only just started this new role so I'm looking forward to discovering how I can impact this prestigious Maison and what the future will hold. Funny enough, I am now working with one of my friends from the HEC Lausanne!
From this experience, I've learned that change is possible. It's important to keep thinking outside the box on a daily basis. And the best way to do that is not to be afraid of change, just go for it and do it!
Because, like the saying goes, it's never too late to be what you might have been.
